'We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). '今回の京都旅行で1番印象的なのが、長屋造りの宿舎です。チェックインの際のスタッフの方も親切で、事前に到着時間を伝えていて大通りまで出て出迎えて下さいました。また、効率的な付近の観光情報を教えていただきました。荷物も事前に配送させていただきましたので受け取り対応もして下さいました。長屋造りになっていて、お隣りが近いせいか隣の海外旅行者が玄関チャイムを押して私たちに台所の使い方を聞いてくる貴重な体験もありました。部屋が広くて古い造りで子どもたちは、大喜びでした。自転車で近所を回ることを楽しみにしていましたが、3日間雨で自転車に乗れず残念でした。'

'I wanted a traditional Japanese experience for my birthday and this was all around fantastic! My only fault was arriving late in winter and it took awhile for the heating to warm up the place (I'm from a tropical climate so it's much colder here for me).'
