'The front desk staff and the breakfast attendant were absolutely amazing — very courteous and professional. Communication was excellent; they responded quickly to every request.
Breakfast was outstanding, with great quality and a wide variety of options. The pools were beautiful, and you absolutely must watch the sunset from the rooftop pool — it’s breathtaking! Everything was clean, well organized, and even the public restrooms were spotless.

'It’s a great property on a nice location. But I booked a design suite, arrived at 1.30 pm. Room not ready (normal). Ready after 3 pm so I went in the city to have lunch. Came back at 3.30, received the key and guess what? Room was still occupied with clothes, suitecases, not cleaned. After an hour they gave me another (normal) room. Above that the rooftop pool is empty, bar not open, elevator doesn’t work. Got nof compensation other than a (nice) drink. So overall not at all what I paid for €...

'Casa Carolina is niet zomaar een hotel, het is een belevenis. Het hotel heeft een eeuwenoude geschiedenis en dat is op veel plekken nog goed te zien. Onze kamer was comfortabel met een fijn groot bed en leuke details. Het is zeer centraal gelegen, maar in de kamer hoor je geen geluiden van buiten. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. '

'Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. '

'Hotel’s location is excellent as you can walk anywhere and there are several excellent restaurants nearby. It’s in a very good condition, there’s an air conditioning and a separate ceiling fan. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff is very friendly. The old town can be pretty busy at all times, but our room 401 was very quiet. '
