HENRY’S red roof cabin on the Chauga River

We have 400 ft on a picturesque bend of the Chauga River, towards the upper end of the River s 31 mile length. This home has nice landscaping and hardscaping that adds to its vacation setting. We have an outdoor fire pit with seating. (Wood provided)

PLEASE- when you are reserving our cabin, please be accurate with your head count. It is not fair to our house cleaner when the reservation is for two, and there has obviously been 4 or more folks staying overnight. Or when our neighbors comment that they met 6 folks swimming or fishing and the reservation is only for two.

Whether you are seeking a fishing experience, or a retreat from everyday life, you will really enjoy our secluded cabin with it's covered porch, steps from the river. With central heat & air, a modern kitchen with features like granite countertops & a dishwasher, this getaway will be comfortable and memorable.

This modern homes setting on a bend of the Chauga River will make you want to come back again and again!
The entire property and home will be all yours to quietly enjoy.
We live nearby, and are available by telephone if needed. There is a land line phone at our cabin as well, as cell phone service is sketchy.

The property is easily reachable when using gps, but you might want to print out your map if you are planning on arriving at night since it can be a little tricky in the dark.
We are 25 to 30 minutes away from Clemson

  • This is a great place with everything you need for camping fun. There are two lakes to fish, swim, kayak, paddle boat. Camping area for campers, tents or rent lake front cabins. Great hiking trails, one being two miles long that leads to a 70 foot water fall. Play grounds and putt putt golf.

The cabin is lovely and cozy. The outdoor porches and sitting areas are absolutely peaceful and beautiful. The river is easily accessible. Loved walking our dog on road leading into the property. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a serene place to stay.

A few things needed repair. Hood over oven didn’t work and the bulbs didn’t work and were mix matched. Three outlets in the kitchen didn’t work in the right corner. BBQ grill was rusted, front step was loose going into the house, couldn’t use the pretty deck lights, visible mold at ceiling and outside of the shower, it would be nice to have a grab bar inside the shower.It was very peaceful for a romantic get away or someone that just wants peace and quiet. iPhone GPS took us right to the address but my sons android would have gotten us lost.

Beautiful seclusion

This is a lovely house by the river, at the end of a dirt road! It’s peaceful and relaxing, the porch was awesome, the kitchen is updated and modern, the extra bathroom was small but nice to have at the upstairs bedroom, the host was quick to respond and very helpful giving us an extra day when I messed up my schedule so I highly recommend this property!!

Anniversary Stay

The cabin has a rustic charm, yet it was beautiful and well appointed. The setting is absolutely stunning and absolute perfection for outdoors lovers such as my husband and I. We enjoyed each night with a fire my the river, took relaxing walks and still managed to hit a few waterfalls hikes nearby. This cabin would make an amazing choice anytime of the year and we cannot wait to return!

If you’re looking to relax, this is a good spot to be! Quiet home on the water. We were allowed to bring our three dogs which is hard to find. Good location to hiking trails and waterfalls. Property was clean. TV setup was different but didn’t bother us since we never turned it on. Reviews and description were accurate!

Needed a real get away from it all. Found It!!! Most peaceful get a way yet. River was wonderful and sounded even better. Well stocked cabin with a wonderful deck overlooking all of the wonderful peacefulness. Sit back with an adult beverage and forget the world.

Fantastic place and stay

Property was extremely clean. Huge porch was fantastic and riverside fire pit was perfect. It’s great that the host supplies the wood at no charge. It’s kept in a nearby covered area, so it’s dry. Most importantly, the host was great. She was very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Wish there was a shower upstairs, but that’s a minor inconvenience. This place is fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
