Rent an experience not just a place to sleep

Escape the ordinary and step back in time. The uniqueness of this location will allow you to unplug from your worries completely, while remaining close to restaurants, pubs and shopping. A stay here is affording you all the conveniences of proximity to life in downtown but because you are tucked away inside of all these acres you feel like you are in your own paradise. In reality there is a supermarket two blocks away and a hospital 14 minutes away in the event of an emergency. This lush private setting on a picturesque farm is adjacent to a park with another park within a short walk. Come fish the pond or hike around the rolling pastures. The house has five bedrooms, three baths, a screen porch and alternate deck off master suite, as well as a large patio area with a fire pit. There are two king bedrooms, one queen room adjacent to a king room, perfect for families with children, and two double bedrooms, one of which is an antique four poster.. There is a pack and play for those traveling with young ones. The largest master on the first floor has a large sitting area with a queen size sofa bed and has a private bath with a 4 X 6 walk-in shower. Bedrooms equipped with TV, Wi-Fi and amenities. Sit on the screened porch and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Elon Univ18 miles, UNC Chapel Hill 15-20 minutes, Duke University is 21minutes. Ideal for a family retreat, girls get away or come work in a stress free environment in a quiet serene setting. Pack light because we have you covered. We provide high quality linens, toiletries, kitchen spices and oils as well as your morning coffee and your paper products. We aim to please.

We were down for Family Weekend at a nearby university. The home was the perfect size for our multi-generational family of 8. It has a lot of charm. I wish we had more opportunity to enjoy the property, but we were on-campus for most of our visit. Make sure to tell your spouse explicitly to continue down the drive around the first house so as not to bother the host who lives on site!

Plenty of beds

Stayed at this house w/ my family over the Thanksgiving wknd. I liked how there were 5 bedrooms to accommodate 7 adults. The king beds were very comfortable. 1 double bed was very squeaky and a 2nd was very firm. The host was quick to respond to texting.

The property manager entered the property unannounced twice, once threatening to evict because we didn't sign a paper agreement of which we never heard. We were 20 minutes from the vrbo multiple times during the year and would have been happy to sign anything. Instead of the normal welcome email from the property manager with instructions to enter... we had to request info and hope they emailed us back. The initial terse gps instructions are a hint, this property is not a warm NC hospitality welcome and not the standard for VRBO. We requested an early check in - normally the property manager checks and gets back to you... yes... no.. aok if the cleaners can't swing it - this property choose not to even check unless we submited a $100 fee. These managers need to stay in other VRBO's; perhaps they are new at this; not yet up to VRBO standards for hospitality and communication.

Peaceful Paradise!

We stayed here with our family while visiting for family weekend at Elon University. Spacious and comfortable, and such a beautiful setting! The farm is picturesque, especially the adorable new calves. So quiet and peaceful, you can't help but but get a great night's sleep! Perfect for our family gathering

The property is beautiful, serene, and feels remote, yet the grocery store is less than a mile away. It was wonderful for us to all have our own rooms. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We'll be back!

Beautiful home spectacular scenery

The home was perfect for my daughter’s graduation from Elon. It is about 25 minutes from campus and perfect for multiple people to stay. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Mornings were spent looking out the window at the cows, chickens and cats. Beautiful and relaxing.

Perfect Farm Stay for Family

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely remodeled and extended farmhouse. Both the remodel and add-on were done well. The furniture is also well done. Good quality and placement. I wish we had been there in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible stay

This place is made for those that want to relax and get away from stress. The house itself is outstanding! Clean, up to date, spacious and comfortable. The location though is what makes is special. A farm (open space )close enough to Durham and Chapel Hill, and the RDU airport, but far enough out to make you feel isolated. Mebane, NC is a hidden gem. Great food and people. Beautiful, quiet property

We had a lovely weekend stay! The house is spacious, clean and well set up for a large family stay. The true star is the property though! So peaceful and beautiful and amazing to get out and walk around and explore (esp after our long drive). Was really fun to see the farm animals and wildlife. We bumped into the owner a few times and really enjoyed chatting with her. So close to the adorable downtown Mebane makes it super convenient for groceries, parks, restaurants, etc.

Great house

The house had plenty of room for all my family coming in from all over. Kept the grandkids busy checking on the cows and chickens. Grocery stores in the area willing to deliver, thanks Wegmans. The only downside was the ants all over the kitchen. I hope they take care of this before the next person gets there. Thanks Masha for sharing your home with us.

Farm stay while attending wedding

House was wonderful. I think just about everyone could claim they had the best room especially because of the views. My granddaughter got her first exposure to cows and chickens. Son and i both took the opportunity to run on quiet country and suburban roads. Good experience!

What a special place!!! Located near major highways but out in the country surrounded by beautiful fields, flower gardens and woods. Morning coffee on the screened porch was heaven. The house is up to date and has everything one needs for a great get away.

Lovely Property

A charming farmhouse in a lovely setting! The layout of the house worked perfectly for 3 generations in town for Elon graduation. The house was extremely clean and well equipped and we appreciated the restaurant suggestions as we arrived close to dinnertime. It was unusually warm for May and we had to adjust the thermostat some to cool the upstairs. The owner & caretaker were extremely friendly and we enjoyed the fresh eggs! The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained and we enjoyed several evenings sitting on the patio. Overalll a wonderful weekend!
