'We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. The restaurant is very good, the staff is pleasant, and the view is stunning.'

'We were in the preseason and therefore not that busy. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is friendly. We got a free room upgrade and it was great! Super spacious with even a double shower. But we had to go down 2 stairs (no elevator). You need a car to see something of the surroundings and this will be worthwhile! One downside: we were not impressed with the kitchen. breakfast and dinner were disappointing. '

'Beautiful stay for our honeymoon. This is definitely a place to go and feel at peace in the Tuscan countryside. 15 min away from some wineries and 20 min away from Montepulciano. Great balance of feeling relaxed by the spa and pool with some quick getaways. Lastly, the restaurant was beyond excellent. Expensive but well worth it.'

'My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved the property grounds and the view of Orvieto. The staff were welcoming and super helpful. During our stay the wifi was not good and hardly accessible, which was frustrating. The posting lists laundry facilities, which we assumed was accessible for guests to use on property, however, it was a service in which we gave our laundry to be cleaned and then ended up paying 25 euros and took over 36 hours to be returned.
