'With my adult kids we spent 3 days and two nights at Giuseppes house. Its tricky to find but worth it. Great views from the patio and some of the windows to the lake. Nice pizzeria near by as well as a cute cafe for coffees, pastry and gelato. We had a great time amd Giuseppe was a great host and very communicative and responsive. The lake was beautiful. '

'Could not have asked for more the grounds, the house, the hostess, the surroundings . . . All just beautiful and wonderful. Felt like I could have spent a month there. The hostess was so nice and so helpful. On the last night we had the chef and owner from a local restaurant, Mimo come and cook for us. It was like a movie. He was such a good cook, so nice. Sat down and talked to us and had a glass of wine . . . It was wonderful, felt like we had a much better understanding of Italy.'

'When we came to the 'reception' to gain access to the property, we were advised that the unit was not available because it had already been taken (?!) and we were being given a 'suite' in the same building as the reception. The problem was that this was nowhere near the sea. Rather than 20 steps, it was an hour's walk away on mean suburban roads largely without sidewalks. The switch in location also caused headaches for a taxi pick-up to the airport that had already been arranged for the...

'It is a perfect place to stay and visit Viareggio/Lucca/Florence/Sienna and drive all the small roads in between. The cottage itself is great. The pictures on the site make it small but it is nice and wide. Big enough for 2 people to stay, nice terrace, nice complete kitchen, big and great bathroom. Bedroom is spacious and linked to the bathroom. The driveway to the cottage is movie worthy. We loved it and if possible we will return in the near future.'

'We stayed at the other property at Mon Domini, though we originally booked the cottage. There was a mix up and Livia upgraded us. The other property was so nice a full one bedroom, one bathroom downstairs apartment with a huge patio right in the middle of the olive groves. The purpose of our visit was genealogy in Cupra Marittima and this was just a few minutes' drive down the beach. We cooked dinner in the beautifully appointed kitchen each night and enjoyed the view. 'Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Wir wurden vor Ort freundlich empfangen und es war für alles was man braucht gesorgt. Dieser Ort ist sehr besonders und perfekt, wenn man die Natur und Ruhe Siziliens zu schätzen weiß. Mit dem schönen Kräutergarten und Terrasse hat es für uns an manchen Tagen gar nicht mehr gebraucht als ein gutes Buch - perfekt zum Entspannen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.'
