'Overall this is a fine, normal Hampton Inn and we had a good stay. We were upgraded to a better room with spa tub, which was pleasant. Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy. Few little annoying housekeeping glitches- no available cups or glasses in the bathroom or with the coffeemaker- we had to pick up a couple in the breakfast area ourselves. 'Couldn't use the pool or the first night I was there because they were painting and renovating the pool area. It looks amazing and well lit now! The staff is always welcoming and if there are any issues they go above and beyond to resolve them. The breakfast is very good. It is scrambled egg omelets or sausage gravy and biscuits. If I'm staying 2 days I grab leftovers and combine them. This is my go-to hotel when I have to stay in the area.'

'Everything was wonderful except our 2nd Dining experience at the Toasted Oak. We had a waitress that didn’t seem like she wanted to be our waitress. She came over with an indifference attitude. Gave me 1 cup of coffee and never checked if I needed a refill. Gave me a burnt English muffin. When the bill was due she decided to be polite then thinking I was going to give her an additional tip. I tipped her accordingly to her service. I did give a generous tip to the waitress that came over...
