Malibu Lagoon State Beach

This motel is located on a busy street, and is within walking distance (or a short drive) to many restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores. It is fairly easy to get to, however, I did miss it the first couple of times, simply because of the narrow entrance. This is an older establishment that is very reminiscent of a 1940s motel. The area surrounding the motel is a bit noisy. The sounds of traffic and sirens are constant, but they tended to taper off at night. There weren't many other travelers when we stayed, so the motel, itself, was quiet. Motel staff is incredibly helpful, and seemed eager to assist. The rooms were clean enough, but we did find hair on the restroom floor (not a big deal for us, but some may find that unacceptable). The beds were comfortable, while the fridge and microwave were clean and operable. It appears that the motel has undergone some renovations and updates, but there was a constant, yet faint, smell of disinfectant. Again, not a big deal, but we werent expecting it. Parking was super easy. We literally parked right in front of our room. Things to be aware of: 1) there is no ice machine on site, but there is a 7-11 across the street. 2) if you're a coffee drinker, make sure to bring instant or your favorite bottled coffee. 3) If you choose to walk anywhere, be aware of your surroundings, and don't flaunt expensive items. We didnt encounter any problems, but this is LA. Dress to blend, not to impress. All in all, I'd stay again.

Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet , fijn zwembad en gratis parkeren, top! Hotel werd niet bijgehouden, zo te zien al jaren niet meer, vooral buiten rondom te zien. Jammer, ooit heel mooi geweest, prijs kwaliteit in verhouding.

Super goed hotel
