Herbergen in Lyme Regis

'While the location is nice the parking is 10 minute walk up a steep hill. Even dropping off luggage is a challenge as it’s right at a very crowded tiny car park. Sadly Expedia sold us the Penthouse room (photos were of it) at a 50 pound discount yet when we got there we got a room with a small window mostly iverlooking the roof and kitchen smoke stack and just a tiny bit of the water. Not happy! Manager said Expedia does that and they have no control. He did take half off dinner but we would...

'We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Paul en zijn vrouw, de uitbaters van de 500 jaar oude pub. De kamer was erg netjes. Om 18:30 ging de pub open en stroomden de plaatselijke gasten binnen en was herberg gezellig. We hebben ons avondeten in de pub besteld en de volgende ochtend werd on ontbijt klaargemaakt. Het was een leuke ervaring. '

The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.'
