We got to watch the fireworks in Lago Vista without having to leave The Island. Unfortunately, we we're there during the storms that caused the flooding in the Texas Hill Country. 'I have never stayed in a place that was so thoughtfully designed, furnished and appointed …with hosts so attuned to the needs of guests. I loved both the inside and outside of the house. The patio area was fantastic ——comfortable for the many of us staying plus room for more. We visited during the eclipse and were outdoors quite a bit. 'We enjoyed a lovely long weekend celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house is very well appointed with everything you need! Communication was great and we had no issues. If only August in Texas was a little cooler… We lived in the pool. Also had a great experience renting a pontoon for an afternoon.'
