'For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.'

She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! 'It doesn’t look like much from the front but we absolutely loved our stay!!!! We stayed in room 18 and the bed was amazing! The large screen TV after being out all day was nice to come back to. The room was big and comfy! We only had breakfast there and it was so good!!! Love the staff in the restaurant… for the price… so worth it!!!'
