'丹後ウルトラマラソンで二泊させていただきました。男性の宿泊客が多かったのか、女子風呂は2日ともほぼ貸切で、ゆっくりくつろげました。朝風呂も露天風呂貸切で最高！ スタッフの方も丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。食事は最終日の朝ごはんだけいただきましたが、品数も多く大変美味しかったです。周辺の飲食店は沢山はなさそうでしたが、近くにレストランはありました。また丹後に行くときには利用したいと思います。'

'Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night.'

'If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area. As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places...

'really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. 'Very clean, traditional Japanese style room with ocean view. Breakfast buffet was my favorite part. The hotel is simple, but beautiful. Hours are limited to the public bath (onsen) and restaurants. If you plan on using the public bath, there’s specific ours for men and women.'
