'Traveling with spouse. We stayed at this location because it was near an event we were going to. We had a king room. Walk in shower with adequate water pressure. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Checking went smoothly. Hotel seems pretty new (?) and it seemed staff was good at cleaning public areas as well. The hotel is just off of I-435 but room was quiet from road noise. 'Hotel was not a $222/night hotel. Barely worth $100. Convenient to event. However, toilet seat wouldn’t stay connected on the toilet, the fill valve on toilet failed continuously without manual intervention, and could not maintain water temp in shower. TV connection constantly failed and had to be reset. For all this wonderful lodging, they charged an additional $100 to my card for a damage deposit. Hotel is old and has not been updated. I called two other times when I got home and received no call back. I got Expedia involved. Then I called hotel again and finally got an assistant manager who was very polite and professional...
