  • Profitez d’une expérience privée au bord de l’eau dans la région du DownEast. Situé dans un petit village de pêcheurs pittoresque, ce gîte en bord de mer à Jonesport offre un accès direct à une plage privée sur Moosabec Reach. Installez-vous confortablement et laissez-vous bercer par les sons apaisants de l’océan, observez les pêcheurs locaux remonter leurs casiers à homards et admirez les spectaculaires levers et couchers de soleil à l’horizon. De l’autre côté du bras de mer, vous pourrez visiter Beals Island, terre natale de Tall Barney Beal, légende du folklore américain. Faites un détour par le Beals Heritage Center pour découvrir à quel point il était grand et fort. Par ailleurs, l’association Nature’s Conservancy propose un parcours de randonnée de 5 miles à travers les bois, à l’extrémité de Great Wass Island. À une heure de route vers l’est, vous pourrez visiter le phare de West Quoddy Head à Lubec, aux États-Unis. Observez les pêcheurs de homards prendre la mer chaque matin pour aller travailler tout en sirotant un café depuis votre terrasse. Des excursions d’une journée vers le parc national d’Acadia, Bar Harbor, Lubec (le point le plus à l’est des États-Unis) et l’île Campobello de FDR ne sont qu’à quelques minutes en voiture. N’hésitez pas à emmener votre compagnon à quatre pattes, car ce gîte est également un véritable paradis pour les chiens.

Semaine de repos fin juin 2024

Superbe chalet très près de la mer. Fenestration et grande galerie qui permettent de profiter de la vue de la mer et ce, même par temps de pluie. Visite faite avec 2 chiens de grande taille, chalet parfait pour eux également. Seul hic c’est qu’il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à Jonesport, plus proche épicerie à 22 minutes d’auto. Très propre et très beau chalet!

Fantastic location, right on the beach, very quiet. The house configuration was good. One bedroom and bath on first floor and two bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the second floor. Loved watching the lobster boats coming and going out to sea.

We just spent two weeks at this beautiful property with an amazing view. The beds were very warm and comfortable. The accommodations were as noted and perfect! Supplied us with enough toilet paper and paper towels, and trash bags and laundry detergent and dishwashing pods linens were of excellent quality heated floor in the downstairs bathroom was a nice surprise. This was our second time staying at this property book it, and you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful location. Just as pictures show on vrbo. Suggest bringing some outdoor games. Saw a few wild rabbits and deer. 4Corners Shop N Save isn't too far and is super stocked with anything you need. Pizza place down the road was good but it's really busy so would call ahead. Rainy day road trip to Monica's Chocolates in Lubec is a must! Go to the lighthouse too, even if it's rainy it's still nice to see.

Amazing Views

Amazing location and views allowing for some rest and relaxation in the quiet coastal town of Jonesport. We loved sitting on the porch watching the lobster boats pass by and exploring for treasures along the beach. Great spot - we hope to be back.

Excellent cottage for families. The location was perfect and was very quiet. We had awesome views of sunrises and sunsets. Everything we needed to make our stay memorable was at hand. The beach was easily accessible. We found a lot of treasures.

We just got back from a fabulous week at this rental. The house was just what we were looking for. It was exactly as advertised; beautifully situated on the water, clean and comfortable. They had stocked more than I have seen a previous rentals. Plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. Even though it was a little chilly for our weeks stay we still thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck reading and watching the lobster boats go by. Also managed to complete a couple of their puzzles. I would stay here again in a minute.

Perfect Fall beach destination

Loved everything. Comfy beds, great kitchen, plenty of seating for family. Location was perfect as well. Wrap around deck had the best views of the ocean. It was exactly what we hoped for

Getaway with our dogs.

This cottage is great, beautiful inside and out. The views are amazing. It's very obvious the owner is a dog lover, that made it even better. We had everything we needed right there, we really had a nice time.

A dream vacation that allowed 3 generations of women to check off multiple experiences in just a few days! Highly recommend this beautiful property to those who want to see the quieter side of Maine and meet the locals in their daily lives! Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

Perfect Downeast Cottage

The cottage by the seas is amazing. Amazing location and proximity to the beach. House was very clean and well equipped with almost everything to make our stay perfect. Only two recommendations for future enhancements, the house is advertised for 6 people but dining area only seats four and, it would be awesome to have an outside dining area.

Best family vacation we have had. House was stunning with views of the ocean and islands throughout the main living room. Wrap around porch gave all the views you could ever want. Seals, loons and lobster boats a plenty. Could not have asked for a better place to stay on this wonderful family vacation.

As soon as you walk through the door, every ounce of stress disappears. From the ocean view out every window to the lobster boats coming in and out of the bay, there couldn't be a more ideal location. House is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
