'This property its beautiful. It’s a bit hidden away, but the drive is definitely worth it. If you come prepared with food and drinks, you really won’t need to leave the room at all. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything you need. 'We have stayed at the property in the past (under previous ownership) and it suits our needs nicely. Our priorities are 1) peace and quiet away from the tourist zones, 2) good reef snorkeling that's easily accessible, 3) kayaking, 4) pool. For anyone looking for these things (especially to relax away from tourists), this property will fit the bill nicely. 'We loved our stay at Turtle Beach Sanctuary. It was very private, quiet, and felt very upscale. Beautiful views and atmosphere. You will definitely want to plan ahead for transportation and your food/meals as it is a bit remote. That being set right into town with a golf cart or less with a scooter. 'Our party of 6 had high expectations by looking at the pictures online; however, Vivaro exceeded all of those expectations. The house had everything we needed and more. We loved the way the front doors in the front and sliding doors in the back can be opened up to allow a breeze through the house during the day. 'Only thing I could add is it was hard to find in the dark when we arrived! Directions and a sign out front would help. Roads are rough but that is Roatan. Otherwise unit was very clean and in great shape! Pool hit the spot on the hot days!'

'If you're looking for a place outside of the tourist spots, but still a reasonable drive anywhere this is the place for you! The pool, the view, and the privacy were amazing. This pool and porch area have been our favorite from all the places we rented in the Caribbean so far. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We appreciated having the air con in the rooms at night. You will need a vehicle to stay here if you plan to see other parts of the island as taxis would be expensive....
