« La maison est très accueillante, chaleureuse. Située dans un lieu reculé de l’île, au calme, avec une très belle vue. Le panier d’accueil est une attention très appréciée. Penser à faire des courses avant d’arriver cependant. Nous y avons passé une très belle semaine sur une île absolument magnifique. N’hésitez pas. »

« Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

« We loved Macaulay cottage - it’s in a great location for visiting the many wonderful beaches and bays on Harris. The cottage has everything you need and the owners are really helpful. It was a great place to return to after a day out. Some of the well known walks (Scholars path and coffin trail) start from the cottage or nearby. We enjoyed kayaking with seals in the the bay by the cottage. »
