'This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.'

'This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel. There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast.'

'This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...
