Good location, good house, not perfect
The house is in a good location and has plenty of bedrooms, which made it a good option for our group in terms of space. However, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.The biggest disappointment was the hot tubâit was unusable due to dirty, green water filled with dirt and sand. We had been looking forward to using it and were really let down. The beds were also very uncomfortable, with cheap, unstable frames, hard mattresses, and thin bedding that didnât make for restful nights.The home lacked basic amenities youâd typically expect. There was only one watered-down hand soap for the entire house, one travel-size dish soap, and the tiniest bar soaps and shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. Trash bags were flimsy, and there was only a broken broom available for cleaning up.We also encountered cockroaches in the kitchen, which was concerning. Lastly, the house is spread over three floors with no lift, which made carrying luggage and groceries up and down quite a challenge. Adding an elevator or a lift system would be extremely helpful.With a little more attention to cleanliness, comfort, and stocking essential items, this could be a much better rental.
