It is only a one block walk to the main street, with the very closest restaurant being LOVINA, an excellent choice for dinner in the evening in the winter we have used the stove inside the room, and we appreciate the refrigerators and especially the accessible bathrooms'

'What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....

'I stayed over Christmas with my pup. It was a really large space for the two of us. I like the location, quiet and rural. There aren't any street lamps so once the sun goes down, it's pitch black. Would suggest bringing a headlamp for those with a dog. '
