'Beautifully restored holiday home for two in a village just outside of Kirkcaldy. A warm welcome was provided with a loaf of bread, milk, wine and some flowers. The views from the cottage over the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh are breathtaking. The cottage is a great base for going on walks, i.e. the Coastal Path, or to the hills of West and East Lomond. 'This apartment was a really great home base for us while we explored edinburgh area. The distance from town created a nice bubble of peace for us than if we had stayed in downtown. The distance from town also provided us considerable cost savings. The apartment and hosts were great. Having a private parking lot was really appreciated, and there is a bakery right next door. We ran out of the toilet paper provided, and there is a funky smell in the stairwell, other than that it was a very pleasant...
