« Wonderful cottage close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Really cosy, spacious property great for families. Lovely log burner for winter nights. In a picturesque hamlet that is a 10 minute drive to the centre of Whitby. Wonderful views from the kitchen and great for star gazing from the skylight on the third floor. »

« If you're thinking of booking Martindale Cottage, do it! The place is a beautifully clean, comfy and well equipped palace! »

« Lovely home with easy access if you drive to Whitby »

« lovely room and the bed was so comfy. The breakfast was lovely and it had gorgeous views of the sea »

« We always stay here when visiting Whitby, good clean, spacious rooms, decent pub and good, very friendly staff »

« Restaurant pub authentique »

« While we liked the theme of the pub, and the staff were friendly, the stay was let down by a poor nights sleep due to very thin walls and chatter in the pub past 11pm (despite the pub closing at 10). « What a suprise , I don’t think the this hotel was advertised well enough, a beautiful property in large well maintained grounds, friendly , polite staff, good breakfast and so clean, nowhere was overlooked, I will recommend and definitely come again. »

Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« Can’t criticise anything about our stay at Station Inn. Loved it! Would highly recommend. »

« Lovely B&B a short drive from Whitby. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect as well. »

« The room was ok but was not serviced daily. The heating only came on for around an hour in the morning and as it is October perhaps should have been a couple of hours at night. The staff were polite and friendly. »

« We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...
