'Great cozy spot for a winter weekend away with the family. Plenty of board games and toys for the little ones. The fireplace made it nice and toasty on the chilly evenings. '

'We loved how it was near both the hot springs and the beach. The fireplace kept us warm and made the night feel extra cosy.'

'Great stay overall, location was good. We went to the Matakana market and Tāwharanui Regional Park, both within 20min of the bach. Only thing to be aware of is there are no tea towels, toilet paper, shower needs, etc. so have to prepare a little bit more to bring all you need for your stay. Otherwise, great stay and would stay again!'

'We had a wonderful time here - great spot to explore and enjoy Matakana, visit the markets and Brick Bay. The house was spotless and the owner was very responsive to questions. Loads of fun had by all thanks! '

'A great wee Bach with everything we needed.Very comfy beds, clean and lovely and warm with fireplace and heatpump.Well equipped kitchen and great communication and instructions.Great location - Bethells is stunning with beautiful beach and lake walks . We alsoEnjoyed the coffee caravan and the Farmers Shop (Sat 10-4) for lovely fresh produce and arts and crafts . Thank you Lyn '

'Very affordable accommodation option on the coast, walking distance to the beach, on a bus route and close to amenities. Everything is provided so just bring your clothes and food and you're all set. Definitely an option to consider if you're looking for somewhere family-friendly to stay.'

'Lovely spot! '

'Amazing location! The beach is almost at your doorstep. This made it very easy to hop on our paddle boards many times a day. Shallow waters and the lovely sand bars were perfect for toddlers and kids. The spa was a slight let down. Likely not much use, not easy to access and not clean. Thankfully the ocean was amazing and we had great weather!'

'We had a lovely stay. A private, secluded haven in the bush, just a short drive from Bethells beach. Very new, modern accomodation with a beautiful outlook onto bush and the valley beyond. The check in process was seamless.It could benefit from having a microwave, and the television didn't appear to work (not that we were desperate to watch tv in such a nice location). '
