The Space:
Kiwi Farm Cabin 1 by Tiny Away sits in the quiet suburban neighbourhood of Waitoki, North Island, New Zealand, just 36 minutes from Auckland. This vibrant city, also known as the "city of sails," features a spectacular waterfront, a striking skyline, and is surrounded by stunning beaches like Browns Bay, Mairangi Bay, Muriwai Beach, Orewa Beach, and Red Beach.

The cabin makes for an ideal coastal getaway with nearby attractions such as Shakespear Regional Park, Lucas Creek Waterfall, Long Bay Regional Park, and Snowplanet adding to the appeal. Tucked behind the barn, the tiny house offers a peaceful and secluded setting on a beautiful north-facing land. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of lush pastures, crisp air, and the calm of suburbia while staying close to the action.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Kiwi Farm Cabin 2," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surroundings, except for some areas with electric fences. Please be advised that there will be some animal and agricultural noise during your stay with us, as we are a working farm that cares for crops and animals.

Furthermore, guests have the opportunity to indulge in a delightful outdoor bath complete with both hot and cold shower options.

Kiwi Farm Cabin 1 by Tiny Away sits in the quiet rural neighbourhood of Waitoki - North Island, New Zealand, where you can enjoy fine dining, countryside landscapes, and more. The tiny house is just a 36-minute drive from Auckland and its fantabulous beaches such as Browns Bay Beach, and Mairangi Bay Beach. Have an adventure at other top spots like Shakespear Regional Park, Lucas Creek Waterfall, Snowplanet, Long Bay Regional Park, Orewa Beach, Red Beach, Muriwai Beach, and Riverhead Forest.

Fruit n Veg Silverdale and Pak n Save Silverdale are nearby for essentials and fresh local food.

Getting Around:
By car:

- From Auckland CBD, 40-60 minutes, 35 km and to nearest towns (Silverdale) 5minutes, 5 km
- Reachable by 2wd

By public transport:

- Guests Can only get here part way by bus.
- From Auckland CBD: Take NX1 from Lower Albert st to Hibiscus Coast Bus Station (silverdale)
- From the property to Silverdale ( 5minutes drive)

- Pets are not allowed
- Gas BBQ grill is available
- Breakfast is available for an extra cost
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Electric fences installed; please take extra care
- Expect agricultural noise and farm animals on the property
- No smoking is allowed inside the tiny home, except in designated areas
- Mobile reception is strong with Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark networks, while there is no signal for Telstra and Optus.
- Given the farm setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Farm guidelines will be provided before your booking is confirmed. Kindly read through them and follow all instructions during your visit.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
