A little slice of heaven on Lake Norman! This home comfortably held 9 adults and 2 kids for a Thanksgiving vacation. The property is well-maintained - we loved the hot tub, pool (yes, even in November!), mini golf, and fishing off the dock. Our family LOVED the theater room! From football game viewing, to holiday movies, to a family meeting - it was a great spot for us to enjoy time together. The owners answered all of our questions - they were very quick to respond. When the gas fireplace went out, the owners had the gas company out to investigate in record time (propane tank just needed to be refilled). When I needed to find the mixer, the owner pointed me to the right place in the pantry. The level of service truly felt like I was a guest in their home, not just a transaction. Location was perfect to explore smaller towns like Newton, Catawba, Davidson, and Mooresville.Would love to come back during the summer when we could use the pool and lake more!

What a lovely property! The home has beautifully designed spaces for sleeping privacy and family gatherings. We found it spacious and comfortable. From the house to the dock, the owners did not miss providing even the most detailed amenities. Of particular note is the salt water pool, which provided restful background noise from its waterfalls. Also, we were very impressed how the owners had made the pool area and access safe for young children. The info documents provided were easy to follow and made our planning a breeze - from checking in to checking out. Communication with the owner was responsive and clear. The ages of our party ranged from 20 months to 75 years, and we all had a wonderful experience at the Fun House!

If you are looking for a true family-friendly place to stay look no further. The layout of the house gives you room to spread out and have a little privacy yet the rooms are large enough to gather together. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals. The most attractive thing about this house is that it feels like a home. Our family felt so relaxed during our stay. Every bed was comfortable.The pool was perfect for little ones. The only time we left the whole week was for boat rides and groceries. We were so content staying at the house. The listing is very accurate.The host responds quickly to every question and goes beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

Overall great property. We had a wonderful week visit. Plenty of things to do for all ages. Another refrigerator would be helpful, but we made it work. The bottom of the pool is a bit rough, but still great to spend time in.

What a great house!! Our family enjoyed all the amenities this house and more! Nicely stocked with all the essentials for our stay. The pool was the highlight with the hot week we had, but the shaded putt-putt was a nice break from the sun! Definitely will return!

Complete and total PERFECTION!!!!!!

The Fun House was the absolute PERFECT spot for my family's annual trip. There were 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable AND to have some privacy. The photos of the listing do not do it justice, as we found the property to be STUNNING! The home was impeccably clean and well maintained. We particularly appreciated the beautiful, resort-style pool and pool deck area. The dock was perfect for our boat and came equipped with paddle boards and kayaks. We LOVED that the home is situated on a quiet cove, only about 30 yards from the main body of the lake. The owner, Nikole, was an absolute delight. She was very responsive and really went above-and-beyond to make certain that my family and I had a wonderful stay.

A great week with extended family!

The funhouse was the perfect place to host our family of 11. There was plenty of space to spread out, and lots to keep all the kids (ages 9-15) entertained. We had a great time. Thank you Nikole for being such a great host!

We had an absolute blast at The Fun House! The hosts have literally packed this house with great things to do. Our favorite spot was the awesome pool!! Our kids and grandkids spent hours there. We also loved the theater room! It was a great way for the kids to wind down after a long day. Thanks for opening your beautiful home to us. We hope to be back!

Amazing Home!

The fun house was more than that, it was home but better! Everything we could want during our stay and more. Beautiful home on the lake, heated pool, and amazing bedrooms to accommodate many. Fun at the “Fun House”

Fun does not begin to describe the “Fun House”! We had a fabulous family weekend. The house is stunning. So much space for us to spread out and relax. A lot of thought and effort has gone into the amenities of the house. We had so much fun playing ALL of the games and the movie theater. We were able to bring our boat and found a great little lakeside restaurant for lunch. The boat launch is very close and convenient to the house. We look forward to returning when the weather is warm to enjoy skiing and the gorgeous pool. Nikole, thank for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Cousins Weekend 2024

The Funhouse is exactly as advertised! We have rented many homes and this one absolutely lives up to its billing. The amenities are amazing and we enjoyed them all — the pool, the hot tub, the grill, the paddle boards and kayaks, the theater room, the pool table, the air hockey table, the video game console and the awesome putt putt course. Everything works, all instructions are clear, everything is well organized, and the owners are very responsive. We had minigolf trophies made up in advance which made it even more fun for all the cousins (who ranged in age from 54 to 5 months; 5 mo yr old was helping his mom in the baby born)! It is very clear how thoughtful the owners are from the design of their home, to the amenities included, to the clarity of the communications. Thank you Mike and Nikole! The Funhouse will definitely be on our return list.

Amazingly peaceful property

We had a wonderful one week stay at the Fun House. It is located in a very quiet, relaxing area, surrounded by nature. Beautiful pool, deck and screened-in porch. Great amenities inside, like the home theater, air hockey and billiards table, darts and more. Bedrooms are all good sizes and comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond to our questions. Overall, a very peaceful retreat.

"This is the Best Day of My Life!"

My family stayed at this wonderful home for a week. The ages ranged from 4 to 70+. This was truly more like a resort than a home! All of us had a blast whether it was playing billiards, electronic games, table games, making smores, water play in both the pool and the lake. My youngest learned to swim at the pool! This is the little one that told us every day "This is the Best Day of my Life!" We loved every minute of the vacation here too! The pool had many wonderful features: contoured seats in the water, overhead umbrellas, waterfalls. There was an outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and safety vests, floats. The whole family spent a lot of time on the lake too. The paddleboards and kayaks were a wonderful addition. There was no, "I'm bored..." The owners were wonderful and accommodating too. I highly recommend this place!

Thirty Something Girls Weekend

This home is absolutely perfect! The pool, bbq, hot tub, lake, kitchen, bedrooms…we wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was the perfect place for us to recharge by the pool, paddle board down the river and have the best time. Nikole is extremely communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. We will be staying here again! 12 out of 10 experience!
