The location and layout matched the listing, and check-in was easy. That said, the overall setup felt more basic than expected for a comfortable stay.While the listing notes full-size beds, the frames and mattresses are lightweight and weren’t very comfortable. Even at 5’5”, I often found myself right at the edge of the bed, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Linens are also very basic.The kitchen is lightly stocked (about four place settings and limited cookware), so it’s best suited for simple use. We also found ourselves needing to bring in a number of basic items (like additional kitchen supplies, laundry essentials, and a hairdryer) to make the stay workable.There were a few maintenance items as well, including slow-draining sinks and some carpet staining. The only TV is a small unit in the main living area, with none in the bedrooms.We didn’t reach out to the host during the stay, so I can’t speak to how these might have been addressed.Overall, the home matches the listing in terms of layout and amenities, but the comfort and level of furnishing felt more basic than expected. It may work for a short, simple stay, but for a longer stay or if you’re expecting a more comfortable, fully equipped home, it may feel limited, particularly when it comes to sleeping comfort.
