'Het hotel bevind zich aan een doorgaande weg. Ik had een kamer op de begane grond aan straatzijde. Het geluid werd helaas niet voldoende gedempt door de ramen en muren. Verder zijn de voorzieningen uitstekend en ziet het hotel er keurig en netjes uit. Nette ruime badkamer, goede bedden. Op het dak is er een restaurant/ bar, deze hoort echter niet bij het hotel. Wel heb je vanaf het dakterras een prima uitzicht op de baai en omgeving.'

We were treated as valued guests by the owner Casey who had graciously upgraded our room and provided a complimentary breakfast delivered to our room each morning. The room was in a secluded and quiet area that had a outdoor seating area where we could hear the ocean while enjoying the complimentary sherry and chocolates. To all who wish to visit Carmel-By-The-Sea, we highly recommended this Inn.'

'The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—surrounded by nature, that made me feel truly alive. Everything about the environment was breathtaking and relaxing. However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. It was disappointing and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I can’t help but wonder if it had to do with us being Hispanic. I hope this is something they reflect on, as hospitality...
