'The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space.'

'This studio property in the hills of Carmel Valley has plenty of space for two, great views of the valley and is secluded but close to Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur. We were able to come back to the cabin after a busy day and relax.'

'We enjoyed the house as everyone’s rooms were spread out and gave each privacy. Beautifully decorated and much detail throughout. Loved the indoor and outdoor kitchens as one of our family members is a fine dining chef and we all enjoy cooking. The wood sauna and soaking tub was a huge hit with our family as well the outdoor patios and fire pits to gather around.'
