'Though the staff were friendly - this hotel is old and worn down. The room smelled musty and was damp the entire time. The sheets were old. The pillows were awful. Breakfast was great though. Lots of choices.'

'Upon arrival it’s a normal quality inn no trash in the parking lot which was nice, each side had decent parking so it wasn’t hard to find a spot. I will say it’s nice not long walk to the front of the building after 9 when the close the other door. But it only takes a few minutes. The lady at the front desk talks fast lol but she was super friendly. As far as the room they were decent I did see they offered shampoo, conditioner and after shower lotion, while I didn’t use them I think they should...

'We love staying here! The breakfast is over of the best in the area, sometimes it does need to be restocked a lot quicker. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They're quick to resolve any issues you may have. They're updating the hotel so there's some construction going on, but it's not been a problem. I love that they have a stove and the rooms are spacious. By far one of my favorite places to stay in Charlotte!'

'Hotel did not understand the room rate that I received from Expedia, but they finally accepted it. Website shows all rooms have tubs — but our room did not have a tub (and my wife dislikes showers). Pool was out of order and unusable. AC was functioning poorly and required augmentation AC units in the breakfast area and on the floors. Breakfast was quite acceptable.'
