'The kids loved having their own room and bunk bed. The space was very large and accomodating and clean. Beds comfortable. Location was perfect for the metro and walking around town. Building felt safe, but it is a busy part of town so can be noisy.'

You enter an unassuming gate to a narrow path through a garden to enter ... and as you reach the house, you are transported to a tranquil, rural setting with views of the garden and undeveloped pasture behind that is simply surreal. 'The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty. The only sink in the room was up the loft stairs next to an unusable jacuzzi tub with hand held shower and was...
