« We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns. »

« "If you want to step away from the noise and just relax, this is the perfect spot. The off-grid setting provided such a peaceful atmosphere, and we truly enjoyed every minute spent in the space. A wonderful experience from start to finish!" »

« Wonderful experience definitely will be going again »

« We were so lucky to have the pleasure of staying at The Cooks' Quarters, this place is such a gem. From booking, check-in, duration of stay, check-out and post check-out, communication and response time from Keith was clear, sincere and timely. The property itself was lovely and peaceful, the home was so cute and welcoming when we pulled up. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a warm note from Kathryn, a bowl of fruit and fresh flowers! This place truly felt like a home away from home. The...

« Perfect from start to finish. More games and toys than we ever imagined. Kitchen had everything and more!!! Loved the double oven and extra refrigerators. Beds were so comfortable that some of us want to buy same for our homes. I highly recommend this property! »

« This home is perfect for 2-3 guest. You could fit 4 people easy enough. Although it is a smaller home, the kitchen, living room and dining area is roomy and open! The outdoor area is wonderful. Very private location with a nice outdoor patio. Outdoor picnic table and what appears to be several acres of land surrounding the home. The host responds quickly if you have any questions. I was a guest at home June 2026 and would absolutely return to this home if I am in the area again. »

« Very clean property! Easy to communicate with host. Easy check in and check out. »

« Will definitely come back for a longer stay. Very spacious and loved being on the water. »

« The inside of the house was great, we enjoyed the layout of each floor and the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the living spaces felt like home. The bedrooms had ample storage & closet space and the bathrooms were nice. The outside of the house was disappointing. It desperately needed cleaning, there were cobwebs and bugs' nests everywhere. Perhaps we were the first patrons of the summer and the property just hadn't been cleaned up yet. The boathouse and dock were covered in...

« House is really cute and inside very interesting and perfectly clean. We had several issues - internet too spotty to use (no work, no TV), no water by dock, neighborhood not great. No matches to light fire-pit and no wood made available. All restaurants and activities closed because considered off season (even hiking). Outdoors not clean-cushions wet or moldy - no comfortable seating on screened porch. Very quiet and we loved the birds but this trip was disappointing. I needed to work and could...
