'Een typisch voorbeeld van een hotel dat jaren geleden begonnen is en daarna heeft gedacht: zo, laat het geld maar binnen komen. Niets aan de faciteiten gedaan en erg ouderwets. Hebben 1x van kamer moeten wisselen omdat de WC het niet deed. Geen excuses van de receptioniste, die sowieso ineens uit een achterkamertje kwam toen we naar de receptie kwamen. 2e kamer was netter en beter, maar van de 3 kasten (daar zijn er overigens genoeg van in een kamer) waren er 3 frontjes kapot en hingen de...

'They had some challenges with the card-system, but how they dealt with the situation: extremely friendly - extremely helpful, they did everything they could to make sure we suffer from the situation. Great and safe location (not too far from the city center), and a fantastic breakfast (super friendly Scottish guy who served us breakfast as well). Worth the price :-) '

'Breakfast was varied and of good quality. Room nice. Modern. Clean. Comfy bed. Fabulous bathroom with amazing shower. Great viewing window towards the park. Nice toiletries provided and teas and coffees'

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep. My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '

'Hotel situated in the city centre. Very nice decorated. Beds are good, shower is good. Although the fan in the bathroom and the lights of te mirror did nt work. This was a bit dissapointing for such class hotel. Personell very friendly. would come back '

'Klant is echt koning, al jaren veel hotels gehad in Engeland en telkens met 2 volwassen en 1 kind op de kamer. Nu voor het eerst in dit hotel en voor het eerst alle 3 een echt bed, 3x koffiekop, 3x glas voor drinken. 3x shampoo etc kortom. Alles voor 3 personen. Een verademing om er niet om te hoeven vragen. En het personeel top, echt gemeend vriendelijk. We hadden een betaalde parkeerplaats gereserveerd maar toen de baliemedewerksters hoorden dat we een invalide kaart hadden zeiden ze dat we...

'We stayed with our grown up children for a night to catch up and relax together. The hotel is lovely and spacious and even though they had a Christmas party going on we didn't feel that we had been pushed out. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was good. There was a minor hiccup with the order but resolved with no fuss.We used the spa facilities which were all clean and working. We had to wait to use the sauna steam and jacuzzi, it was quite busy and there was no restriction on the...
