'The staff at Buenavista made this a great vacation. They work very hard to make sure you are comfortable, well fed and you have everything you need. The Chef prepared 3 fabulous meals a day. The owner will contact you prior to arrival to see food preferences and go to the store. Just know that you need to have cash to pay for the groceries upon arrivall. 'We spent a full week here. The privacy is everything, along with the dock. It’s a beautiful area to start your day off with a cup of coffee and sunshine. The landscaping was such an added bonus. Thanks for a great visit! '

'We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The lodging is terrific and diving, jet skiing, snorkeling and sailing are right there on the beach. The restaurant and bar (which also serves food) have good food and drinks. However, it often felt as though they were understaffed and running a bit frantic. It wasn’t uncommon to see the wait staff talking when guests were waiting to order or get food.
The two restaurants are the main eateries at the resort and there are no restaurants...

'Pretty great stay. Rooms are a little outdated but nobody spent much time in them. The hotel is very clean and the staff was exceptional; especially Demaris in the Buffet and the Macao restaurant. The beach is beautiful. The food was good. Would stay again!'

'The wait staff Judy and Eric are awesome. I have been going here for 3 years now and they have always gone out of their way to make me comfortable. Light rain in the morning a few days but cleared up by noon. Drink lots of water bring your sunscreen. This place does not have a lot of amenities but make up in location of being on a beach.'
