'No staff. Didn’t know where to go . Lawns not mowed. Cleaning equipmment left in bedroom. Bathroom and toilet facilities far away from bedroom. Far too expensive compared to other motel accommodation '

'The host was welcoming. Great location. Very quiet at night. Then a short drive to Waihi Beach and Bowentown. We had a lovely day at the beach with our dog. '

'This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.'

'We all thought 1st impression it was a very cute house. Very tidy and had everything provided for you. The host was very nice and just a phone call away. One thing that was mentioned was the number of the house wasnt visible for a taxi to know which house it was to pick us up at. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would tell friends of this cottage if they need to stay in Waihi.'

'House was clean and had a gorgeous outdoor area with both table and couches. Fully fenced section safe for small children. Would be keen to rent agin. Great communication from owners .'
