'Prijs van €125 voor zo’n oude kamer kan echt niet meer! Sanitair is al 20 jaar te oud '

'Ik heb 12 nachten overnacht in Campanile Basildon. Daar heb ik de vriendelijkste, sympathiekste en meest attente mensen leren kennen. Uiteraard heb je voor dat geld geen kasten met gouden randjes of een sterrenrestaurant... Maar ik had een nette kamer, met iedere dag verse lakens, handdoeken en koffie-melk-suiker-theezakjes. Het engels ontbijt was elke ochtend weer heerlijk. Ook 's avonds genoot ik elke keer van een heerlijk avondmaal. Ik snap niet waarom dit hotel zo weinig sterren krijgt....

'2 girls outside our room being loud at 11pm was not very respectful and after a long day we just wanted to sleep. Luckily enough they moved on after a few minutes of hearing a door open. Room was big with decent amenities. Parking was good but don’t think having to pay £2.50 was necessary. There’s a restaurant onsite but don’t offer a proper breakfast which was disappointing. The tuna breakfast toasty was ok but not something you normally eat then. The bathroom needed a good clean. Unfortunately...

'The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away. There is no public space you can hang out in within the hotel building. The price could not be beat, however. The fan for the bathroom was totally ineffective and...

'A great apartment for what we needed, the added welcome tray was lovely. We appreciated the security measures at the apartments and felt safe. The apartment itself was comfortable, it needed a final looking over as there were a couple of cobwebs higher up but nothing that affected us, the bathroom and kitchen were immaculate as were the beds. The location worked well and despite being a busy area was mostly quiet. The balcony was an added bonus, we enjoyed that too, We would book again if...
