Squeaky floorboards, squeeky doors, light above basin in bathroom not working, shower floor waste has unattached metal cap floating around the shower base, timber ventians in the sun room not working properly, one bedroom window cracked and repaired by sticking a sheet of adhesive backed imitation tiles (!) across it thereby blocking...

Location is about 10-15mins walk to the centre and a lot of parking space closeby (free in weekends, during weekdays 3.5 NZD for the first 2 hours after that 6NZD per hour (8am-6pm))'

'I recently stayed at the msocial hotel in Auckland and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find a travel adapter available at the front desk, a small but thoughtful touch that saved me a lot of trouble. 'Mooi verblijf! Ideaal gelegen om Auckland te bezoeken. Op loopafstnd van de winkelstraten en de gezellige haven waar allerlei leuke restaurants zitten. Parnell, het historische gedeelte ligt ook op wandelafstand. DE auto konden wij parkeren onder het hotel voor NZ 30 per dag. Prima geregeld. Personeel erg vriendelijk en de kamer was rustig gelegen met uitzicht op he binnenplein. Wij gaan zeker terug!'

We kwamen naar dit hotel om uit te rusten in een mooie 5 sterren hotel, maar 3 sterren past er beter bij. We snappen ook niet waar de 5 sterren vandaan komt. De cafe onder ons begon om 6 uur al met voorbereiden op de dag, waardoor we continue geklop en geschuif van stoelen hoorden. Om half 8 ging de muziek aan....
