« The easy check in and clean home was a delight the views were amazing. »

« The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. »

« A great place to stay! Technically a small house, it still felt very spacious for four people. Everything was clean and well kept. The property was beautiful and private. The location was also great; we never had to drive more than 20 minutes to get anyway. I would definitely recommend! »

« The property was great, awesome cabin with all that we needed. Cutest general store and great playgrounds. Dog park for a pet and very convenient. Only negative is that it is directly beside a very active railroad track. After the first night you get used to it though. Very friendly, very clean! »

« I absolutely loved this little cottage and can’t wait to visit again!! It had everything we needed and more. Loved the small private beach and watching the ferry crossing the James River. Spent time in Smithfield, which I want to do again and spent a day across the river visiting Williamsburg. I also got in a little fishing! The owner was great to work with and provided tons of info to make planning my visit perfect. I highly recommend this sweet little cottage! »

« We had a wonderful stay. It was beautiful, disconnected, fun, and just what our family needed. »

« It was very quiet where we stayed .our cottage was also very clean .we enjoyed our stay the cottages are very nice . »

« The house is super clean, the location cannot be beat. We had a wonderful week there. Unfortunately we were there in really warm, humid weather so we could not enjoy the outside ameneties as much as we would have liked but the house more than made up for that. Stunning views all around sunrise, sunsets, the sounds of the lapping waves. We would love to come back sometime when the weather is a little cooler. »

« This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

« Great views of the James River. Property had everything we needed. Located near all the attractions we wanted to see. Weather was great the first couple of days. We saw eagles near the property. Used the ferry to travel back and forth to the tourist areas. Interesting. Overall, an enjoyable and relaxing stay. »
