'The property was gorgeous, and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The experience was perfect, and the host was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. There were plenty of other beaches in close proximity to enjoy and we thoroughly encourage others to make sure they do a trip to Buck Island. My daughter and I...

'we would buy this place! It was even better than our expectations. The villa was clean and polished. they met us in town and led us to the villa. There was a beautiful basket of food (wine,cheese, fruit, ect.) waiting for us. We loved the view!'

'Stayed here with my brother and both our boys, for a guys trip. This place had 4 beach chairs, 4 big comfy beach towels and a cooler. That was just what we needed. The kitchen was small, but clean and organized. Each room has its own remote to set the temperature which cooled it very well. The remote was hidden behind the curtain mounted on the wall.Walk into town, be careful to look for cars. Next door has a rundown house, but the people were friendly.Found a few board games that we could...

'This is a beautiful location right on the ocean and very central to activities on the island. Chad and Emily were there to greet us, offered us great suggestions as to how to enjoy the island, and even made us delicious cookies upon our arrival.The cottage is well-appointed and very clean. The space is very private and separate from the main house. We enjoyed golfing, snorkeling and hiking on the island, and we would certainly recommend this cottage to couples who just want to get away! Enjoy...

'It is a quiet accommodation with nearby places to eat and shop located in a central area. Good communication. The air works well. It doesn't have a water heater but the island is hot but refreshing at night. Otherwise excellent.'

'Absolutely lovely home in a gated villa with fully stocked kitchen, private pool / sun deck and comfortable couches, screened in porch and king size bed! Host checked in with us over the app, check in / check out process was very smooth, and they even provided beach chairs, towels, sunscreen and bug spray for us. Great location up the hill (8 min drive) from restaurants, bars and the ferry dock. Would highly recommend!'

'Away from it all with a great view. Rental is a must and address a little hard to find. Kudos to some dude walking his dog who helped us out. Great owner and good communication. Look forward to going back. St John is the best. '

'We stayed at the end of March 2025! First, the host is top notch! She will give you all the advice you need for planning your trip! Take it and do your own research as there is soooo much to do within your limited time there. Also, Bob the grounds keeper is very friendly and helpful too! Location: you’re on Coral Bay, super convenient for those looking for adventure as you can access the whole island from the less populated side of the island and skip traffic heading to the north side beaches....

'Tommy was great to work with. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Great for sunsets. Cottage worked great for us. Note that there is no view from the cottage. It’s tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us. Enjoyed our stay.'
