'Our stay at Masseria Santa Lucia was okay. The accommodation itself is very nice. We booked the Deluxe Suite and were amazed by how nicely newly decorated it was, with high ceilings, lovely bathroom with luxurious shower and comfortable bed. The swimming pool looks equally stunning with modern beach chairs. However, that experience got overshadowed a bit by the unfriendly welcome. 'Our room was beautiful, on two levels with a balcony in front looking towards the centre of old Matera. Breakfast included a variety of Continental options. They even prepared breakfast for us on the last day, when we had to leave early. The service was fantastic, always available to advise us and anticipate our needs. '

'When entering the hallway it looked amazing. White marble floors and stylish paintings. Then a 3 step to get to a elevator (i didnt use it cause i used the stair that is aside) Then entering the apartments. It looked clean and stylish. My room, with a queensize boxspring with two stand aside closets, good pressured floating water in the bathroom, a tv (wich doesnt have international channels, but they never do), a bureau with chair, chair and closet. The doors to the balcony have wooden panels...

'Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again.'

'Walking distance of Matura. Very new and complete room with a balcony and free drinks in the fridge. Unfortunately there was no elevator, and the breakfast was not in the building itself.
