« Très jolie Maison, dans un quartier très agréable. Une décoration à l’ancienne vraiment très belle. Nous étions 2 couples. Nous avons réservé un étage avec deux chambres mais attention une seule salle de bain mais nous étions au courant. L’accueil était très agréable, la patronne a l’air vite débordée quand même. Je n’ai pas spécialement apprécié que l’on nous propose d’aller prendre le petit déjeuner ailleurs, car la table était pleine. Cependant, ça reste un très bon séjour. »

« The check-in is contactless. It is pretty efficient but it feels strange to enter an empty large house. There is no elevator (which we were made aware of so no surprise here) and the stairs are very wide so it is very easy to move the luggage. Our room had a view on the river, but this was a bit of a stretch statement. You could see the river but if you were standing in the corner of the room! The room itself was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The only thing to improve was the bathroom fan,...

« Magnifique endroit. La chambre était propre et confortable. Nous avons éprouvé des difficultés avec le wifi (signal très faible) et l’eau était tiède à la douche. Mais dans l’ensemble c’était bien. Nous y retournerons en route vers le sud. »

« When staying at a historic inn or hotel, I want to see some history. My husband and I enjoyed reading the old news clippings and historic details on the walls. The room, furnished with antiques, was very clean; nothing was sticky and the only noticeable dust was on the TV stand. Breakfast was in a pretty dining room. They accommodated our toddler by giving her cushions to sit on, milk in a child-sized cup, and a straw. »

« The Swope Manor has a beautiful outdoor patio and garden area. It is very convenient to the uptown stores and restaurants. »

« The Inn is a step back in time. If you're looking for a place to unwind away from the busy pace of modern life, this is just what the doctor ordered. Sari and Bonnie and staff are wonderful people, the food is top notch, and not having televisions in the rooms is a welcome bonus. The lake across the street affords opportunities to fish or kayak, and there's plenty of trails and back roads to explore whether you're hiking, biking, or driving around. »

« Bridge to some stuff was out, walked a mile to eat really good pizza. B&B experience. Owner/Operator super nice and helpful but it’s staying in someone’s house… the details/rules/etc. Room was comfy, had hose/towels for bikes. Breakfast was delicious. If you are after the B&B experience, this place is great. If you’re staying here because you can’t find a hotel, it’s more B&B than Inn. »
