« Our group arrived not knowing what to expect after a long days travel, as soon as we pulled into the office to get our keys we were amazed at quaint cabin that awaited us. « My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates! »

« Loved our stay! My husband and I came here after planning our wedding and ending his school semester. Such a fantastic place to enjoy doing NOTHING but also so much! We hiked, kayaked, hot tubbed and enjoyed the fire pit at night over looking the water. So peaceful and we will definitely be back! »

« The best part of the location is that the entire property is in it's natural state. The retreat blends in with the surrounding landscape. Why anyone would cut down the trees, fill in the swamp land to build a seawall, then build a giant house and have a yard to mow is beyond me. Kudos to the owner for respecting what makes the place a beautiful place to stay. »

There is no tv...but there is also no close neighbors, no noise except for the river flowing, no property problems and no rules that can make your rental a stressful nightmare. This is the place to regenerate...rest, read, listen to the birds and the river. The owners are the best you can ask for in a rental. « This home was just as listed. Plenty of space and things to do. Unfortunately the river flooded days before we arrived but it did not stop us from enjoying the property. « I’ll start with the good- it was the perfect spot for us for vacation. The property was very clean and had plenty for us to do. We walked to the water and played in the pool and stopped for ice cream a couple times. The setup was great! The mattress however was awful. I felt like I was sleeping in hole- mostly because I was. So that part was definitely a let down. I didn’t rest well the entire trip but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would likely go back again one day! »
