Kabuki is dramatisch theater dat muziek en dans combineert. Het is een van de meest typische traditionele kunsten van Japan. Deze podiumkunst bevat spannende verhalen, prachtige scènes en andere kenmerken die het publiek in vervoering brengen. Bunraku is een van de representatieve traditionele theaterkunsten voor volwassenen in Japan en staat op de Representatieve Lijst van immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van de UNESCO. Het is een nauw samenwerkende vorm waarin verhalende recitatie, shamisen muziek en poppenspel worden gesynchroniseerd. Het reciteren van verhalen door een verteller die uit alle macht zijn stem laat horen, het dynamische en delicate geluid van de shamisen en de prachtige bewegingen van de poppen doen het publiek versteld staan.
Door deze unieke stijl wordt Bunraku geprezen als een zeer verfijnde poppentheaterkunst in de wereld.

NIHONBUYO is een podiumkunst waarin expressieve dansen worden gecombineerd met zang,
Shamisen(snaren) en Hayashi(percussie) muziek, verbeelden het dagelijks leven en verschillende verhalen. Het biedt een breed scala aan plezier, van vredige oproepen die diep in de harten van het publiek zinken tot een levendig gevoel van energie.
