- The Bamboo Farm, Provincia de Puntarenas, Quepos, 60601, Costa Rica | If you're driving on the Quepos–San José route, you'll see the sign on the left-hand side. The sign is made of brown wood and says NACARCOSTA. Right in front of it, at the same entrance, there's a large sign with A RED-EYED FROG. The receptionist will be waiting for you. The guide has all the information, parking and tickets, and will just be waiting for you to start the adventure... Be careful, because after the gas station, there are many companies that offer this activity. Please follow the instructions given here. Don't forget the wooden sign that says NACARCOSTA. There you'll see the beautiful entrance in the middle of the oil palm plantation. This entrance has beautiful heliconia flowers on both sides. Drive on and you'll pass a small bridge in the middle of a large bamboo grove. Drive to the end, where the NACARCOSTA front desk is clearly marked with signs. The private parking lot is right there...

Tijdens deze prachtige activiteit gaan we op zoek naar de best gecamoufleerde diersoorten in hun natuurlijke leefomgeving, de mangroven van de centrale Pacifische kust van Costa Rica. Samen met een lokale gids met een scherp oog gaan we varen en op zoek naar witgezichtapen, krokodillen, slangen, een groot aantal vogels zoals reigers en ijsvogels, vleermuizen en nog veel meer…
De boot is van alle gemakken voorzien en heel veilig voor het hele gezin. De kapitein en de gids zullen je alles vertellen over de natuurlijke geschiedenis van de diersoorten die we tegenkomen.
