Pass by the security point/gate located at the exterior wall surrounding the building. There is a walkway that goes through the garden strait to the A1 entrance into the building. There, you will meet your guide and you have to show your ID/Passport (original, no copies and no driving licence accepted) and pass through the security check point. This is security similar to what you will find at airports or other government buildings. From Monday to Friday the tours are starting from entrance A3S2, located on the Northern side of the building, with access from 1-3 Izvor street, where you will meet our representative wearing a badge CT&T, at the coffee shop inside, if there is no other way mentioned.

Wat je kan verwachten

Na binnenkomst op de binnenplaats van de Roemeense Senaat in het Paleis van Volksvertegenwoordiging, vanaf de ingang aan de buitenmuur, aan de straat Calea 13 Septembrie, ontmoet je de gids bij de hoofdingang waar hij je langs de incheckbeveiliging brengt.
Het gebouw van het Paleis van het Parlement is het belangrijkste symbool van de communistische architectuur in Boekarest. Tijdens de rondleiding loop je de hoofdtrappen van het gebouw op en af om de indrukwekkende gangen, vergader- en conferentieruimten op verschillende plaatsen in het gebouw te bekijken. De rondleiding omvat ook een stop bij de belangrijkste vergaderzaal van de Senaat, de Plenaire Zaal. Als de tijd het toelaat kun je genieten van een koffiepauze in de plaatselijke winkel.
