The Hotel is magnificent. The rooms are clean and very nice, as is the rest of the building with its wooden beams and grand fireplace with three story chimney. New logs are placed on the fire regularly, giving the hotel a very nice and cosy atmosphere. The restaurant is of Scandinavian design with beautiful wooden furniture. It also overlooks the harbour, having nice views all-round. The staff speaks good English, as all Norwegians do, and is very helpful. A nice detail is that the staff does not merely consist of Norwegians but they hail from a variety of international backgrounds, which makes for nice conversations. All in all a very nice experience, do recommend wholeheartedly.
