Don't stay at this hotel if you only plan to stay overnight and can't arrive early to check-in and leave early the next morning like what we did. Despite our rather short stay, we were able to celebrate my dad's birthday in a memorable way. We even got a complimentary cake! My parents loved their room and so did my brother and cousin. Our room was spacious enough for our curious one year old and our 10 year old son. Wide variety of choices in their breakfast buffet and they even packed some bread for us, as we were heading for bantayan island the next day, and didn't know where to stop for a quick bite along the way. The staff are very friendly. It is a family-friendly resort that even infants get to enjoy playing in the swimming pool. My son loved the slide so much. Too bad they close the kiddie pool early and leave only one pool open. Dinner was scrumptious at the Havana restaurant.

Excellent! Beautiful location, quiet en friendly staff. The food was delicious. We went to this resort last February (2019), to vist our family in Tagbilaran for the first time. The staff was so friendly, we hadn't met friendly staff like they was before. We visited the Islands on the east side of the Mactan Island by boatrip. We also went to the Panglao Island by ferry from Cebu, keep in mind that i will take a half day to come there. Outside the resort was a lot of traffic and real Philippines houses with foodshops. It is save to walk around to resort, but it is better to do that with 2 person's or more. I will come back in the future.

I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)

They tell you that you have all these amenities or complimentary stuff but they leave out the important details. I had a gift certificate only to find out that you can only use at restaurants within the hotel and not when you check out to cover the room charges. The complimentary drinks, it does not state that you can only claim it at a specific restaurant. The complimentary massage, they would not even accommodate us for the whole time we were there. So those were useless! The transportation, when you call for one, it takes forever for a small resort!
