Canada: Kindvriendelijke vakanties

This hotel is a JOKE! Came over with my family during the Labor Day weekend and everything was a mess. From entering the room, there was a stink, flying bugs like gnats everywhere throughout the room. Only to figure out later that evening, there was no hot water, only cold. We requested a room change, but front desk was not helpful, they refused and said to wait for maintenance. The maintenance person didn't come until late night when everyone showered already, along with having to wait up for the maintenance person to fix it. We were told it was fixed, only to figure out in the morning that there was still no hot water and had to shower in cold water as we were checking out that day and had no time to wait. At checkout, we were offered a $40 refund credit by the hotel which is diabolical considering we paid at least $400 for a room for my family. I am disappointed as the reviews on here seem deceiving with an experience like this. I have traveled to Niagara so so many times and never had this issue or anything close to this experience before. Never again at this hotel!!!

Nice hotel with a good location.

Hotel looks quite modern. Pluses: * Large rooms (mini-suites), half with atrium balcony and the other half with outside facing windows. (Not a very great area in terms of beauty, main road but close to the old city walls) * Excellent buffet breakfast, though it should have been included in some room rates as 27 CN$ is quite expensive. As many other hotels, only coffeemaking in room not tea. Minuses: * The smallish pool at the bottom of the atrium is really for partygoers and families. No shower hence not too hygienic, and causing noise disruption for the whole atrium when families and/or teenagers are there * Reception is friendly, but badly informed. At check in they failed to inform us about the free local bus pass for minimum 2 night stay. We found out next afternoon and went to reception. Initial answer was 'probably not for your situation, will check' and when we insisted they checked and found out it WAS for guests like us. Procedure not that hard - had to scan a QR code they showed, fill in a form and generate a code, and with that code reception could issue the pass. Having the pass from the start would have made the trip easier, and it's a grave mistake that reception did not have proper info.

Super hôtel, nous y allons souvent!

Definately a family hotel. Pool was very nice, hot tub as well. Was not very busy when we were there, but can be quite noisy if you have the room with the inside balconies.

Fijn hotel in het centrum met parkeerplaats. Zeer vriendelijk personeel!! We werden bij de receptie heel enthousiast ontvangen en later wegwijs gemaakt in “what to do and see”. Kleine kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt. Wel lawaaierige airco vlak naast het bed.

Fabulous offering for this price level. Large suite-like rooms with full kitchenette and large bed and bathrooms. Lovely pool with outside terrace, great for hot summer days; large and useful laundry room too. Location can't be beaten, 5-10 minutes walk from Gare Central (train and metro). The one big minus, costing them a full star in the rating, is the breakfast. Included in the rate is no excuse for them of delivering a continental-minus level. Continental would be fine, with eg croissants and sweet breads; but it is far below, with only toast, bagel and sweet cakes. Also very packed room with dirty dish collection in a corner. One of us did not go for B'fast on 2nd morning, that says enough....
