Echt op 1 minuut van Times Square. Leuk hotel schoon en ruime kamers hadden wij. Voor mensen die wat meer rust willen zou ik een hotel wat verder van Times Square nemen. Vooral dikke prima en leuk hotel.

This was the first time I stayed in a hostel, and I was concerned about shared bathrooms and the size of the room. It is indeed a VERY small room, a single bed, and enough space to get in and out of it. It has a small TV and that's it. It has the look and the feel of a train or ship cabin, that I found quite cute and charming. Even if very, very small, it was incredibly comfortable! It was serviced upon request, with clean sheets and fluffy towels provided every day. The bathrooms are shared (there is one just for women, one shared per hallway) but these are relatively clean and comfortable, with good water pressure, and nice amenities. There is a larger room at the reception/lobby with an amazing collection of books, a large table and comfy couches, with fresh coffee/tea served every day from 7am. They also have a laundry room (which I didn't use). The hostel is housed in a historical/listed building and shared with a fancier establishment (a restaurant or bar of sorts). The area is excellent, on the corner of the Hudson Park, half a block away from the High Line and the Whitney and a short walk from the subway, right in the West Village, so very safe and quiet, also at night. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, had tips and were always open for a chat. I was very happily surprised by this property, as I think the price/quality ratio is unbeatable. I would stay there again, and highly recommend it!
