Parking: You are permitted to pay and park for $10 per day in the guest parking lot of The Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Waterfront hotel (35 Lockwood Dr.) The Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Waterfront hotel is the yellow high-rise hotel adjacent to the marina. Go up the stairs to the hotel front desk to purchase your parking pass. Directions to marina: After you pay and park, walk up to the sidewalk and turn right on Lockwood Drive (the Marriott Courtyard hotel will be behind you). Walk towards the green “Calhoun Street” sign and turn right into the marina with the blue sign that reads: Harborage at Ashley Marina. The captain will meet you in front of the gray marina building 15 minutes before your charter time.

Wat je kan verwachten

Kies uit een 2,5 uur durende middag- of zonsondergangscruise voor maximaal zes gasten. Ga dan naar de jachthaven van Ashley om je kapitein te ontmoeten. Stap aan boord van “Esprit de Joy” en ontspan aan boord van deze 35 voet luxe zeilboot. Vaar langs de Charleston Battery en bewonder onderweg het spectaculaire uitzicht op het centrum van Charleston.

Vaar langs het schiereiland en zie vele andere iconische monumenten, waaronder Castle Pickney, Ravenel Bridge en de USS Yorktown. Bekijk Fort Sumter, dat werd gebouwd om bescherming te bieden tegen een invasie van de marine. Neem je eigen drankjes en snacks mee om van te genieten tijdens de cruise.
