Athina Palace boasts modern rooms, with a private pool room upgrade adding a luxurious touch. However, slight renovations are needed: gaps around doors and tired paintwork detract from the otherwise pleasant spaces. The resort shines with beautiful pools and gardens. The "relax pool" offers tranquility, while the "active pool" provides a lively atmosphere. Efficiency reigns supreme with friendly staff and exceptional reception service. Thoughtful touches like pick-up points around the hotel (especially helpful for those with mobility limitations) ease the walk from the beach. While car rentals are convenient, especially with Babis' friendly assistance, room cleanliness was a major letdown. In room 614, cigarette smoke wafted in from a nearby service area, ruining the fresh feeling. This seems to be a recurring issue for guests. The animation team, while enjoyable, presented solely in French. Some, particularly the male staff, came across as arrogant. English integration would significantly enhance the appeal. Repetitive shows with a strong French focus suggest a need for program diversity. The clean, well-maintained restaurant offered friendly service, but food variety was lacking – daily menus felt repetitive. A touch of staff enthusiasm and dress code enforcement could elevate the dining experience. A designated greeter to welcome guests and ensure dress code adherence would be a welcome addition, as many disregarded it. And cocktails should be served in a glass, not a cup

Hotel is good, but for us a 4-star accommodation. The rooms are a bit outdated (also the ones that are renovated), but very large though. In the all-inclusive formule there is no a la carte included. Sometimes you have this option for 1 night. Drinks and food is very nice but after 4 nights we found the buffet a bit boring. The staff is great and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very clean. Watch out as on all the hotel pictures you only see the swim up pools and the a la carte dining. The pool is also a bit old, but luckily there is also the sea. There is plenty of space around the pool and at the beach to relax. We had beds everytime! We highly recommend the spa as well! In general a very nice stay, but not worth 5 stars in our opinion, but rather a 4 .

goed hotel, all inclusive formule past minder bij ons maar was voor 1 week OK. deel van hotel waar wij zaten was net nieuw (1 week open) en ook een nieuwe receptie, terwijl er ook een andere receptie was in het oudere deel. hier was verwarring over waar je moest zijn, en ook was de service in de kamers nog niet optimaal, zoals geen schoonmaak 1e dag; geen koffie/thee op de kamer terwijl er wel apparaten staan; geen algemene hotelinformatie en het personeel was nog erg zoekende. Het nieuwe restaurant had vaak geen wijn op voorraad die wel op de menukaart stonden. Het was wat chaotisch maar de staff deed hun best. de nieuwe wellness was helaas nog niet open, en de nieuwe fitnessruimte halverwege onze vakantieweek. maar het is een mooie upgrade van het geheel, het andere deel is verouderd. wat aan zee irritant was dat alle bedjes bezet waren (met handdoeken) - ook al waren er geen mensen we hadden geen bad, dat was nog in aanbouw.

We recently visited Kos for the first time and it was an amazing experience! We stayed in a fantastic hotel that was very peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really made our holiday special. The food was delicious with plenty of variety. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!
