Tidewater Regio: Strandvakanties

Staff at the hotel were excellent and friendly. We arrived very early, so I was expecting to have to do a luggage hold and hang out all day but Deborah was very helpful in getting us in our room. The room itself was pretty spacious, the bathroom was a bit small but had what we needed. I did think the room could use a little updating. My only dislike was the onsite restaurant. While the server was nice, the food was bland and expensive and we were charged an automatic 20% gratuity for the two of us. I was in town for a conference and other guests attending the same conference were not charged automatically, so I'm unsure why we were singled out. I would recommend walking across the street to the Hilton for food, as it had better variety and was actually less expensive, or walking within a few blocks. Overall though, I would definitely stay again.

Beautifully decorated however, updates are definitely needed. The bathroom had paint peeling and was very dated. The doors seemed dirty/in need of fresh paint. Bed was fairly comfortable. Hubby & I noticed a weird, musty odor in the hallways (we were on the 7th floor) We came for an event in the ballroom (Michael was a great server) Because we attended an event at the hotel the $66 parking fee was waived. The next morning we had breakfast at the restaurant-Divinos & it was terrible!! The service was terrible- had to ask for refills on water & coffee. I asked for cream & sugar for my coffee & never received sugar so I had to go to an empty table to get my own.The menu lists chicken sausage but the server stated “we don’t have that.” He then mentioned they have bacon, so I asked if it was turkey or beef bacon as we don’t it pork. He said no but it’s a good bacon 🙄 I ordered the frittata w/a fruit bowl. Hubby ordered smoked salmon bagel w/fruit bowl. The frittata had zero taste even with mushrooms & spinach. They didn’t bring hubby’s fruit even after we reminded two people. We had to ask the server to take it off the bill. Would definitely skip breakfast here and go somewhere else..

The staff at the front desk were beyond helpful! The concierge gave excellent recommendations to restaurants. Also, everyone was courteous and helpful to my husband and I. It was a delightful experience to stay at DuPont Circle Hotel.

Very poor check-in service, unfriendly staff who couldn’t find my booking telling me it was my fault not theirs while in the end she was searching wrong. Was told that wifi was free because I was a Bonvoy member, but I was still charged on my creditcard afterwards. Beds are super small, not suited for 2 persons.

Nice and very well located place. We enjoyed our stay there. Better breakfast options would not hurt but anyway loved the place

We had a very nice suite. The staff was always very helpful and the room was well stocked and clean.
